After climbing Mt. Rainier, we spent a day exploring the Olympic Peninsula in Washington.

- Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park (it was cloudy and we couldn’t see much, though)
- The Pacific coast section of Olympic National Park near Forks and La Push where the Twilight books are set
- The Hoh Rain Forest, one of the few temperate rain forests in the US
It was also a surprisingly wildlife-filled day, as you’ll see in the pics below.
