After climbing Mt. Rainier, we spent a day exploring the Olympic Peninsula in Washington.

  1. Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park (it was cloudy and we couldn’t see much, though)
  2. The Pacific coast section of Olympic National Park near Forks and La Push where the Twilight books are set
  3. The Hoh Rain Forest, one of the few temperate rain forests in the US

It was also a surprisingly wildlife-filled day, as you’ll see in the pics below.
